Construction project to temporarily close portion of Jim Hogg Road in Lindale

LINDALE, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Lindale announced Tuesday that a portion of a busy road will temporarily shut down in July.

In a post on their Facebook page, the City said the closure, which was approved by Smith County, would be on Jim Hogg Road from Sand Flat to County Road 472. The decision allows crews to place culverts for the Centennial project between July 7 and July 18.

The City said if crews can complete this portion of the project ahead of schedule, that section of Jim Hogg would re-open sooner than expected.
